College, Trips, Jobs, and End of Summer

Everything seems to be falling into place as the summer nears an end. I got a job at Target, my internship is going great, I'm leaving for Scotland in a few days and college apps are starting up. I feel like I'm spiraling into what promises to be a busy year. I'm pleased, however, because I think it will be a successful year as well. Time management poses a threat of course, and tensions rising with my parents. No matter how honest I am with them, after initially losing their trust I am always struggling to make them believe me. It's getting rough. I wish they would trust me to make my own decisions about things and not control me, which of course is what all teenagers say I'm sure, it's just that I am acutely aware of if because I had freedom in Europe, came home and was in high school again. It's going to be a hella long year. I hope that I can get through it gracefully enough because I'm unsure how everything will work out.
